Visupost is a mediawiki extension (PHP language) that allows managing and displaying news pages containing posts.
Posts support wiki syntax and on the fly previsualisation (using javascript).
It is written by Romain Pillon and Alexandru Ionut Munteanu.
The extensions is licensed under the GNU General Public License.
With Visupost you can create news pages. Depending on the users rights that you specify, one can write news on some pages, read, erase and modify them. Each post allows uploading a file (which will be available to everyone, depending on the upload directory server configuration). The extension also adds the <Addnews> tag to insert news titles and quick links (like below for the Releases, News and Documentation pages).
Visupost does not allows managing previous versions of posts.
Visupost is not maintained for the moment; however, it works and you can easily install and use it.
